Sterling Silver Fossil Rosary

The first, is a beautiful grey and pink natural Fossil rosary lovingly created from Fossil Crinoid beads and Swarovski crystals. Crinoids are marine animals which are still alive today, but they’re also some of the oldest fossils on the planet! I adore these beads, and they’re completely natural and organic. Beautiful! I hope you like them too :)

The second rosary is made from Rosewood and Rock Crystal beads. Very sweet. I love how this has turned out, it’s also very tactile and a joy to hold. This is already becoming one of your favourite designs, as I’ve sold quite a few already (thank you!). I’ve only recently begun using wooden beads as I normally favour gemstones, but they have been absolutely wonderful to work with and very therapeutic.

I am also taking some bespoke orders for Christmas (I know it seems a bit early, but it’s better than worrying at the last minute). So, I thought I’d add an early reminder for all my beautiful customers that ‘special request orders’ will need to be ordered in advance for Christmas delivery. All orders not needing any personalisation can be ordered up to 25th November, any orders needing personalisation must be ordered before the 18th November. I’ll pop a notice on my web site in the next few days as a reminder, so don’t fret if you lose this email :)

Remembering the brave souls who have died on our behalf 11/11/11

I know some people have made requests for wooden rosary beads, but I’ve always found it difficult to source a lovely wooden crucifix/cross. Thankfully, upon my Internet travels, I have managed to find some olive wood crosses! Yippee! When the crosses arrived a few weeks ago, I immediately ordered some bayong wood beads and began creating :)

Here is the finished result, it’s now available to buy online and I truly hope you like it – I will be adding more wooden rosaries to my site in the following months, as I love how this has turned out. I’ve also added two new Baby rosaries, in sterling silver and swarovski pearl. The mini rosaries have been so popular, that I’ve decided to make a full-sized rosary in sterling silver for Baptisms and Christenings – they can be found here, on the Baby Rosary page.

Also, I have managed to find some new Anglican crosses! I have been using some plain crosses and some crucifixes (with Jesus on) for the Anglican rosaries so customers can choose which they feel most drawn to. I’ve now added a new Anglican rosary with a coloured enamel cross and I’ll be adding some more soon! I always like to offer my beautiful customers a wide choice ♥ Here is the new Anglican rosary – I hope you like it.

Baby 'Footprints' Bracelet

Hi everyone! I hope you’re all having a beautiful week :)

I just wanted to write and let you know that after many requests for Baby Bracelets – I have finally added a small collection of Baptism and Christening bracelets to my web site (Hurray! I hear you say!) – thank you for your patience, I am really pleased with how they have turned out – I hope you are too…. they’re just SO cute!

I will be adding some more baby bracelets to the web site over the coming weeks, as I have found some adorable ‘dummy’ and ‘pram’ charms that I can’t wait to use!

I have also added some new Baby Rosaries to the web site, full size length, not the keepsake size – and I’ve already received some orders for these, so I’m pleased you like them! That’s wonderful!

I will also be adding some new bracelets to the web site shortly – Saint bracelets and Spiritual bracelets – all lovingly created from healing gemstone beads. I will let you know when these are available to buy on my site. I’ve still got a long way to go, more designing and creating – but I wanted to let you all know what I’m up to right now :)

I have also received a request from a beautiful lady in Staffordshire to create a bespoke Bridal necklace – I am so excited! This is my first wedding commission and I’m thoroughly looking forward to creating something very beautiful and delicate. I’ll let you all know how I get on.

Kambaba Jasper Rosary #41

The rosaries have been lovingly created with some beautiful healing gemstone beads, including Kambaba Jasper. Kambaba Jasper is a wonderful stone, believed to calm the mind and promote a feeling of peace. The Kambala Jasper rosary is similar to the popular silver leaf jasper (number 53), but with a Sacred Heart junction. I hope you like it :)

The dalmation jasper and dumortierite rosary has turned out quite nice. The blue stones (Dumortierite) among the rosary are also very healing, Dumortierite is a very spiritual stone as it’s believed to facilitate communication with your angels and spirit guides. A perfect prayer bead for a rosary! I’ve also created a Lourdes religious necklace for the web site, and I’ve used an enamel heart pendant with a mixture of gemstones beads (including red coral, which I adore!). The Miraculous design is already a favourite of yours, so I thought a Lourdes necklace may also become one of your favourites too :)

Handmade Rosary

Hi everyone! I hope you’re all well and enjoying the beautiful weather! The sunshine is so replenishing and life giving – it’s a wonderful healer and I’ve been spending some time in the garden enjoying its energy. I hope you have too :)

I’ve been unable to create any stock at the moment as I’ve been unwell – as some of you already know I suffer from Colitis and I occasionally have bouts of sickness – but I’m remaining positive and learning to trust in the flow of life.

During my meditations and restful periods I’ve had some wonderful creative ideas for the web site, with new ideas and thoughts bursting from my mind! I cannot wait to start the new projects and help Atalya Designs to grow, offering more products and handmade gifts to my beautiful customers.

I will let you know when I am adding new items as usual, by this blog and my email newsletter, and as always I want to thank you all for your lovely comments about my designs and prayer beads – you are so kind!

Bloodstone and Bronzite Anglican Rosary

I’ve also recently added two new Anglican rosary beads to the web site, lovingly created from Peace Jade beads and Amethyst, along with a Bronzite and Bloodstone rosary design. I hope you like them both! I know Colleeen (a customer in Scotland) will be pleased to see these new designs, her encouragement with the new Anglican designs has been inspiring.

New Rosary Design

I’ve also created a lovely dark rosary using beautiful black onyx and picture jasper beads, it’s a striking design with a detailed crucifix and centerpiece – perfect for little boys on their Communion Day. I’m also in the process of creating more Holy Communion designs using the smaller 6mm bead size – making them perfect for smaller hands. Many women like the smaller bead size too – I’m often asked to create 6mm rosary designs which can be carefully stored inside a handbag or pocket when travelling – which is such a great idea! I tend to have a larger 8mm bead sized rosary for use when at home and a matching 6mm one for when I’m travelling, they’re wonderful to hold when needing comfort or reassurance.

Anglican Rosary

As promised, I have finished creating some of my new Anglican rosary designs and I’ve added them to the web site – within minutes of uploading them, a lovely customer has just placed an order for the Picasso Jasper and Bronzite rosary (thank you Colleen!). I hope they continue to be a great success and many other customers will find peace and comfort from the new rosary designs.

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed creating the Anglican prayer beads, and with other ideas bubbling around in my mind I cannot wait to start creating more designs :) I’ve also added some extra information regarding Anglican rosaries and how to pray on them – you can view the page HERE. – I hope it’s informative and helpful for anyone who wishes to read it.

I’ve also received some beautiful custom-made Atalya Designs rosary pouches – just for you, my lovely customers!
